About Rehabilitation
Rehabilitation is the process of restoring normal musculoskeletal function following surgery, injury or any other medical condition that can affect the musculoskeletal system. Rehabilitation is achieved through progressive exercises which aim in improving the strength and mobility of the affected body site. The long-term effectiveness of exercise in the treatment of several musculoskeletal conditions is greatly supported by the literature and this is why exercise should always be included in your physiotherapy treatment. The rehabilitation programmes are tailored to match each individual’s needs but since each patient is different, response to such programmes may vary. Following consultation with one of our specialist physiotherapists you will be advised on the most appropriate rehabilitation protocol for your condition.
